Job Summary
We’re hiring an Insurance Account Manager to manage and grow client relationships while helping individuals and businesses protect their future. In this role, you’ll work with clients on P&C insurance, Life & Health, and related financial services products, guiding them through coverage and financial planning recommendations, quoting, and policy changes—while delivering responsive, high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned book of business, including renewals, follow-ups, and client retention
- Review client needs and identify opportunities for additional coverage and/or financial services
- Gather information, request quotes, and present coverage options clearly and accurately
- Assist clients with policy changes, updates, and documentation as needed
- Coordinate with carriers and internal team members to ensure timely submissions and smooth processing
- Provide prompt client service by answering questions and resolving issues
- Track leads, quotes, renewals, and follow-up tasks in a CRM or tracking system
- Maintain knowledge of products, underwriting requirements, and compliance standards
- Support marketing efforts through referrals, networking, and proactive outreach
Qualifications
- Insurance experience preferred (P&C and/or Life & Health)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a consultative approach
- Comfortable working with leads/opportunities and working toward performance goals
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple client priorities
- Basic computer skills and comfort using CRM/spreadsheets
- Valid insurance license (or ability to obtain required licenses promptly)
Compensation
- Base hourly pay + commission (incentive-based earnings tied to performance)
Compensation: $47,500.00 - $89,500.00 per year
